Fruits - they are high in sugar - fructose is sugar don't forget that
Bananas - nope, delicate drama Queen goes crazy if fed bananas.
Grapes - high acid and the drama Queen hates it also fructose
Straw berries - very limited as of fructose oh and acid, they don't sit well with my stomach
Sodas - no no no no - diet or cero or what they are called NO
The only thing would be sparkly water with no added fruit!
So get rid of all the sodas!
Juices - NO NO NO NO - tons of sugar in them - high in acid and not nice to the stomach
Note berries vary in the amount of fructose and benefits for the body, google is your friend here to see what benefits each type carries and what berries are highest in fructose.
Now the 7 foods I skip are,;
Sugar (be it added or artificial, I don't eat fruits but never could due to the acids in them driving the drama Queen nuts, My sweet thing is Cantaloupe melon, and I do use berries in my breakfast, oh and Stevia to sweet things up, I use Via Health Stevia and also Stevia from NOW, the vanilla one goes into my breakfast)
29th of June 2014 : Sugar is still out after all this time and will stay out as much as possible. You should read labels on food, like ready sandwich meat and such and you will be shocked to see what is in it. For ANYONE that wants to loose some weight... this is the major stuff to get rid off. And I am actually shocked when I see what people think is NORMAL to have for breakfast. Pancakes or waffles with syrup or other sugary stuff... holy cow... that is just crazy!!!! Try protein shake, not protein bar, but proper protein shake. Protein bars normally have tons of sugar in...
Flour/Gluten (this is not coming back, oh and note spelt is flour, most grains got gluten, Oats are gluten but I think that in some places you can get them gluten free but not here in Iceland... lol so off was my porridge)
29th of June 2014 : Well flour as such seems to be semi OK, need to check the gluten free though. But YEAST is totally out, can't tolerate it no matter what, I swell and my joints start aching. Am not eating any bread, I tried and I paid... with pain and suffering. FIBRO people might want to check this out cause I had a very bad flare after the bread incident.
Eggs (this was a bit of a surprise, and I hope this will be OK when I try them again)
29th of June 2014 : Eggs are back in and am doing fine with them :)
Peanuts (Oh how I panicked my salted peanuts and peanut butter, but wow, try salted almonds and almond butter and you be in heaven)
29th of June 2014 : I am hooked on Almonds now and am not making the swap so am keeping the peanuts out for good
Corn (Can't say I miss it at all, I don't use sweet corn, no pop corn, no maisena and am leaning to arrowroot for sauce thickener)
29th of June 2014 : Seem OK with sweet corn stalks but this is a rare thing for me to have as I am no great fan of it and never have been. Seem to be fine with using maisena as thickener too.
Dairy (Been sensitive with that since I was 16 so quite easy not using dairy, my only problem was to let go of cheese but being stubborn is a great thing, I use cocos and almond milk)
29th of June 2014 : If I have milk I choose lactose free one. Else as I am used to not being able to eat much dairy at all it is no great loss on my parts. Almond milk is my favourite to use for my morning shake and it is also great in any cooked meals. I am stuck with ISOLA almond milk as it is the only brand that I can find in Iceland that hasn't added sugar and soy in it, thankfully it is deliciously yummy.
Soy (Never liked it much apart from soy sauce but can live without it)
29th of June 2014 : I have tried using soy sauce and it seems to be fine, am not using soy in any other form though. And I make sure my almond milk has no soy added. Food producers actually add soy and sugar to make things taste better, how crazy is that. If you are checking almond or coconut milk, make sure your read the label well as lot of them are loaded with soy and sugar.
