More options for nice snack :)
Again will add a picture later :)
We all love different types of veggies. As I don´t use much night shade veggies do to high starch and just not working so well with my Fibro...
So I choose something else.
Cauliflower,
broccoli,
celery,
cucumbers,
mushrooms,
orange peppers.
I cut these down into nice finger bits and for dip I choose various sauce´s from Walden Farm.
I am specially hooked on the Bacon ranch one, oh my god it is so good and NO sugar... love it.
This works perfectly when sitting and watching a movie
I don´t snack after 8 pm apart from the odd day as well anything after that time is more prone to jump on my hips... roflmao

What I have as snack
I eat lots of nuts, the ones that grow on trees. Not peanuts, they are legumes, and I am skipping them for the time being.
Brasil nuts - love them
Cashew but in limited doze
Almonds both with or without sea salt. They are my favourites and are very filling. So if you feel hungry before lunch or dinner then a handful of almonds can save the day.
Hazel nuts also in limited doze.
I like roasting nuts so I cut the brasil nuts in two and mix with almonds and hazel nuts and even walnuts.
roast on dry pan and sprinkle some sea salt over and you will be amazed how nice this tastes.
But remember don't gob down gallons of them, they are fatty and well you don't want to change into a nut tree now do you... lol
Other snacks would be the rare treat of crisps made from vegetables. This is a rare treat cause here in Iceland these cost an arm and a leg and then some. Also here it is very important to read labels as they tend to add grains to these and that is no good. It is also rare to find something not from night shade vegetables but I have settled for sweet potato ones and seem to be ok with that. But mind you.. this is a very rare treat and I am sure you can find all sorts of yummy crisps from veggies in US... but tiny Iceland has very limited selection.
I also use raw veggies as snack oh and well I love tomatoes and the small ones are great as pop it in your mouth and bite and have the juices explode inside your mouth... ahhhhh
i also like to put fresh raw veggies in a jar with low cal itailn dressing for the kids to snack on and thanks for tip on peanuts the kids like to eat them boiled wich is very commom here in georgia but i also make them my self so they wont be to salty. I do miss the icelantic hot dogs though there is nothing here in the usa that compares with them
